The idea of creating a mural in the two sites where the Anticéntrico project took place emerged as the conclusive piece to the creative workshop. This is the story of how Creamos participants manifested their artistic expression of past struggles and their path to freedom at the Creamos headquarters in Guatemala City.

Running a sustainable and socially-conscious business can seem like a daunting task, but mi eelo’s production coordinator, Karina Pixtun, is up for the challenge. Creamos sat down with Karina to talk about her experience since assuming her role as production coordinator and her journey through Creamos to mi eelo. Karina first joined Creamos’ exercise classes and later enrolled in the industrial sewing course. Her ability to lead and connect with her peers in the sewing course throughout her first leadership role at Creamos paved the way for her transition to mi eelo.
